Ya see... The Nomads... They didn't accumulate (or WANT) extra baggage because they were always on the move. Their belief was a lot of possessions weighs u down and prohibits u from movement. I feel like that belief holds true for most of us as well. The more baggage and possessions we have to lug around (maintenance, take care of, pay on or for etc.) the less forward progress we make on our journey.
Too much baggage definitely prohibits forward movement and can increase the time it takes to get somewhere. The older I get the more appealing this whole nomad theory of traveling light is. I believe that traveling lighter is a key component to walking with a pep in my step and a smile on my face.
Heavy Load...Rougher Road.
Less to carry make Lori Merry.
Although I'm not planning on selling all of my possessions and moving to a remote island... I DO want to reevaluate the possessions I have ... once again. See if any excess could be shed.
I challenge you to locate 10 items in your home today and give them away this week in secret w a note attached. Come on... Surprise someone with a little of that excess in yours storage bins... (laugh out loud) ...Really though. :)
Yep.... I challenge YOU...
