Anyone struggling to fly due to one of your wings being broken?
Or…. is someone standing on one of your wings? For Pete’s sake ask them to step off your wing … You have places to go today… Lives to touch. Dreams to achieve. Passions to be Purposed.
A lil' remedy that I use when I feel like I busted a wing.... It MAY help you with take off…….
A useful discipline that works for me is a sort of recalibrating my range of motion/movement -yep -how well I can move-fly at the time (I do this of course AFTER analyzing what my view has been looking like lately... If I am sittin' back with a broken wing I am not seeing much now am I? ;) … so yeah.... I visit that sacred space where my fragility can be mended.... There I REMIND myself that my personal struggles CAN end if I am FULLY committed to the Serenity Prayer. I often forget to GO THERE for a BETTER, SMOOTHER DAILY LIFT OFF. I can miss the wholeee "daily wisdom" to know the difference part. ah ha ... the key..."THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE" PART... Ya see if one of my wings needs mending or my view of life or stuffff is de-scendinng it is usuallyyy b/c I have flown into something or somewhere that was not for me to know or go... or land or Be. Ya still with me? Hang tight.... I am getting there....
The wisdom to know the difference IS MINE today. As I draw apart and go to my special space... (MY QUIET PLACE).... I can be refilled. I look at it like THIS….
Quiet time sharpens my ability to stay on course in flight...
Being STILL almost naturally medicates me....
Then of course GOD, the healer, sews me back together .. ANDDDD tends to my wounds and he gives me the strength to soar ONCE AGAIN.... I regain elevation and momentum and take off in a new direction.
Imagine how high you could soar if you took even a few moments to TEND to that injured wing today. Heck, a few stitches might even do the trick. You would be surprised at what you can do or where you can fly to when you are intentional about the work you need to do to and fully recognize the serenity prayer AND the broken wing mender close by ….
THE WISDOM TO KNOW the DIFFERENCE IS MINE TODAY. . . WOW WHAT A VIEW.
