An example would be ....
A friend and I were walking on lunch and heading up a Colossal incline of a hill. We were in a deep discussion about personal and professional growth -(specifically overcoming obstacles-).
As we continued our conversation we were getting a bit distracted and wehad slowed our pace a little... All of a sudden this elderly man on thesidewalk shouts …
“You are going to have to move a little faster than that ladies to get up THAT hill” ... I looked over at my friend and we both started laughing… and, of course... we accelerated. I said to her "Do you suppose that was a message for US to get movin' -on overcoming our obstacles?"
She smiled so BIG! We "GOT" it.
Why am I telling you all of this?
It is easy to get distracted or get worn out when you are climbing a hill... (facing a challenge)... but we gottaaaa persevereee.... Just like an athlete becomes more fit by doing an obstacle course, YOU will become more robust by climbing that hill ahead.
The hills in life make us stronger, more fit, and mold us into who we are.
YOU GOT THIS.
